College groups investigating ooids

The Cape Eleuthera Institute can offer college and university students a unique chance to participate directly in ongoing research while being immersed in a unique and dynamic environment. Because of our location in The Bahamas and eco-friendly campus, courses can focus on topics ranging from basic marine ecology to integrated coastal management and sustainable design.

In some cases, courses can be accredited through host institutions and co-instructed by our resident scientists.

Undergraduate and graduate level courses range in length from one to three weeks, with programs of a lengthier duration providing opportunities to be directly involved in ongoing research initiatives at the Cape Eleuthera Institute.
