Vocational education for young people of Eleuthera

The summer apprenticeship program is open to South Eleuthera students in high school or older who are interested in learning more about our research and education facility and getting hands on experience in a variety of fields. Each apprentice is assigned a mentor and signs a contract for the duration of the summer that includes a small stipend. The purpose of the apprenticeships is to develop professional skills that can help young people be more marketable in the workplace.

  • Biodiesel
  • Carpentry
  • Culinary arts
  • Facilities
  • Permaculture
